Did you miss...last month's "4th Tuesday" webinar?
The A.R.E. team presents LIVE webinars - for free - on a variety of topics on the "4th Tuesday" of every month. Participants take surveys, ask questions, and share ideas. We hope you'll join us live on a "4th Tuesday" coming up soon. We present this recorded version of previous webinars as the next best thing.
Click on the links below to sit in on a recording of previous webinars. Some of the links will take you to page at Go To Meeting, our webinar service. You'll be asked to enter some basic information; don't worry, we won't share it with anyone else. If you have a pc, you should be able to just click and play. If you're a mac user, you may have to download Flip4Mac - just follow the instructions on your screen.
In those cases where a webinar wasn't recorded (hey, it happens!), we've attached our power point slides. They are in the form of a Quicktime movie. The slides go pretty fast. If there is something you want to read more closely and/or reflect on, just hit the PAUSE button on your player. There is no audio so you won't be able to hear what we had to say about each slide but we hope they'll be helpful to you, anyway. If you want to be GUARANTEED to hear us, you have to tune in on the 4th Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. central.
Enjoy.

Today relationships happen as much using technology as in person. That will be more and more the case in the years ahead. This means big changes but also means more relationships can happen over distance without having to travel. The world can get smaller and greener at the same time! This is not a technical workshop on how to use technology but a strategic one on how you can begin to communicate and relate to new audiences using new methods and a sort of philosophical reflection on the implication of these new tools for the work we do today.

What business you're in, you need to be in the business of giving. Especially now. Research shows that generativity (i.e., giving to others) is one of the keys to a happy life. And happy people are...well...BETTER people!...at home, at work, in their communities. The A.R.E. team shares an approach to giving that will lead to happiness and joy...rather than sucking the life out of you or your organization. Unfortunately, we didn't capture a recording of this webinar but our power point slides are attached here for you to download. There is no audio but we hope these slides will be helpful to you.
We reviewed the book "Just Enough Anxiety" by Robert Rosen and shared some insights that we on the A.R.E. Team have found helpful. How does anxiety work and how can you touch felt needs by connecting with it? You won't need to have read the book for this to be helpful (although it's a good book and you may want to). More than a review, this webinar will apply some of the insights to help you think strategically about how you do what you do!
