I finally read this book after it was recommended to me by friends who have attended an online or onsite workshop with us over the past year. They've said this book has helped them learn how to Ask Purposeful Questions in their own lives and in their work. After reading it, I can say that it does that and more.
This is a fantastic read, filled with very practical ideas, that will help you stay focused on what really matters. It invites you into the practice of spending about 20 minutes each with a partner (s) or on your own asking purposeful questions about what you've experienced, what you've learned, what has given you life, what has sucked the life out of you, where you were touched by God's presence, how you were a blessing to others, and so on. The authors call this process The Examen.
