Designed and facilitated a uniquely participative, multi-state process to help the people of the Central States Synod (ELCA) articulate a renewed and broadly owned sense of purpose;

Developed and tested an innovative process helping college students in the Western Mission Cluster develop a sense of their life’s purpose and direction; 

Designed and implemented the first steps of a community organizing project aimed at increasing public involvement and concern within the Kansas City School District; 

 Used an asset-based, grassroots, deeply contextualized process to help the leaders of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod(ELCA) discern new strategic directions in which to focus their resources over the next several years; 

Guided the board and key donors of a young, growing, North Carolina-based nonprofit through its first visioning and strategic planning process; 

Designed and implemented a missional assessment for a large church in Virginia that is in the midst of a major staffing transition;

Conducted teambuilding and leadership training events for newly appointed leaders in the redesigned structure of the Eastern Synod (ELCIC);

Provided ongoing support and advice that helped a large UMC congregation in Maryland stay focused on mission throughout the final stages of a multi-million dollar expansion;

Designed and facilitated a year long process that helped a cluster of leadership teams from 12 congregations in South Carolina re-imagine what it means to be who you are and see what you have for the sake of doing what matters in their emerging context;

Conducted leadership workshops for religious leaders, both lay and ordained, from various denominations across the U.S. and Canada; 

Provided one-on-one coaching for leaders in executive positions throughout North America.
