Dave Daubert (DMin, PhD) brings his experiences as an agricultural engineer, nonprofit board member, parish pastor, and denominational executive to his work in organizational renewal. He has a certificate in nonprofit management from Michigan State University and is a managing partner at A Renewal Enterprise, Inc. Dave has published several books and articles, including “Reclaiming the V Word: Renewing Life At Its Vocational Core” (Augsburg Fortress, Spring 2009) with Tana Kjos. Tana Kjos (MA) brings her unique perspective as a commercial designer to the work of bringing people together to solve problems and imagine solutions. She is a managing partner at A Renewal Enterprise, Inc., and one of the original architects of The Renewable Organization. Tana is the author of several published articles and co-author of “Reclaiming the V Word: Renewing Life At Its Vocational Core” (Augsburg Fortress, Spring 2009) with Dave Daubert. She did her graduate work in leadership, helped pioneer a national training program for congregational leaders, and spent a decade in hands-on parish ministry. Bob Machamer (MDiv, DMin) is a licensed marriage and family therapist who also brings his experience as developer of a start-up congregation and lead pastor of a multiple staff congregation to the work of personal transformation and organizational renewal. Bob brings a joy for working playfully with commitment and determination toward discovering the passion that is in individuals and organizations. He has specialized training in intentional interim ministry, mediation and coaching, and is currently completing the requirements as an Approved Supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Jennifer Lee Robinson (MMu) has a lifetime of performing experience in multiple artistic disciplines. She earned a masters degree in music from the University of New Mexico in 2003. A creative problem solver, Jenn has presented workshops on the role of creativity in transforming communities and organizations. Her article, "Holy Play: Transforming Communities through the Arts," was published in Imago Dei Literary Arts Journal, vol.1, 2008. After a decade working within a congregational setting, Jenn served as a volunteer coordinator and neighborhood team leader with the Barack Obama Campaign for Change, where she witnessed firsthand the power of using participative processes, asking purposeful questions, honoring place and remembering to play.
Marlene Daubert (MSW, MTh) has extensive experience working in private industry, the non-profit sector, and the health care industry. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marlene has a compassionate side that draws her to work with people who are hurting or on the margins. She finds joy in watching people explore and use their gifts and passions to make a difference wherever they are. Marlene is active on the board of directors for a local homeless shelter, leads a tutoring team at the neighborhood elementary school, is an outspoken advocate for fair trade, and serves as a diaconal minister on the staff of a Chicago-area congregation empowering people to use their gifts in a way that impacts the world. Marlene's great listening skills, coach training and social work background make her an excellent coach.
Kelly Fryer (MDiv, MTh) is an entrepreneur who brings her work as a small business owner, environmental activist, high school teacher, and redevelopment pastor to renewing organizations. Kelly is on the faculty of the Nonprofit Management Graduate Program at Spertus College and teaches courses in leadership at the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. A natural story-teller who believes in the power of narrative to inspire, teach, and transform, Kelly has published several books and articles. She is a member of The National Speaker's Association and in demand as a keynote speaker across the U.S. and Canada.
