One of the things participants in our "Treasure in Clay Jars" workshops receive is a free copy of "A Renewable OrganizationTM: A Workbook for Faith-Based Groups." This 90-page workbook includes rich content and page after page of exercises you can use on your own and/or with your team. These exercises will help you learn to turn good questions into purposeful ones, how to determine whether or not any particular situation calls for a participative process, how and why to use an irrational decision making process, and much more. We plan to eventually make this workbook available for purchase online but right now it is only available to workshop participants. One city down, eight more to go!
Our west coast team (Dave, Marlene, Jennifer) left this weekend for that leg of the tour - it's not too late to register for the Oct. 13 event in Los Angeles or the Oct. 15 San Francisco event. Next week the east coast team (Tana, Kelly, Bob) heads off to Hartford, CT. for an event on Oct. 22. You can still get the early-bird rate for the Oct. 27 Baltimore event but only for 3 more days! Early-bird rates are also still available for our workshops in Winnipeg, Orlando, Charlotte, and Philadelphia!
Thanks to all the participants of our Chicago workshop who are continuing to give helpful feedback about their experience with us this past week. One Chicago participant wrote: "You have so much wonderful content and experiential learning that goes with it... You are so counter-church-cultural. We need it so badly. And I need to hear it over and over!"
