Organizations that go deep are going to provide deeper levels and layers of service to their existing members, clients, and customers. Deeper means people will be willing to drive across town to get whatever it is you're offering!
Organizations that go wide will figure out how to expand what they're offering, intentionally doing things to reach that segment of the population they're not currently connected with.
